Watch: Mets’ Conforto goes deep in first postseason AB vs. Dodgers
The New York Mets jumped on Zack Greinke and the Los Angeles Dodgers early on Saturday night, as home runs from Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto gave them a quick 2-0 lead in Game 2 of the NLDS.
For Conforto, the blast came in the very first postseason at-bat of his MLB career – and it was also hit very, very hard.
Here’s a replay of the line-drive solo shot that crashed into the right-field foul pole, as well as a note about its exit velocity courtesy of MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo:
Conforto hit 114 mph on the exit velocity of that homer, per Statcast. Hardest-hit HR of the postseason and it's not close. #Mets

That’s a pretty strong impression to leave with your first career playoff homer.
