Watch the walk-off double that saved the Giants and beat the Cubs

San Francisco Giants fans strongly disagree with the notion that nothing good ever happens after midnight. Or at least close to midnight.

That’s about when Joe Panik stepped to the plate at AT&T Park, doubled home Brandon Crawford and gave the Giants a 6-5, 13-inning win over the Cubs in Game 3 of the NLDS to extend their even-year season by at least one more day.

Panik spoke to FOX Sports MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal afterward, crediting a “sense of calmness” for the Giants’ ability to win a 10th consecutive elimination game. But there wasn’t anything calm about the scene at AT&T Park after his game-winning double.
