Recap of Friday’s live chat with Rob Neyer

Is Johnny Cueto the best pitcher in baseball right now?

It’s Friday and we may have fooled you into thinking there was no live chat with Rob Neyer this week. Well check yourself, because there most certainly is, and it’s going to be earth shaking.

Rob’s usual Thursday timeslot was compromised, but fear not, it should return next week at its usual 1:30 p.m. ET. But for now, let’s enjoy the fact that it’s Friday and there is actually even more to talk about than there would have been yesterday.

For instance, Johnny Cueto threw another gem yesterday to become the first pitcher since 1909 to go at least seven innings and allow two or fewer runs in each of his first nine starts. We never would have been able to chat about that yesterday. But now we can.

So grab your favorite flavored milk drink and reread Rob’s latest columns on Mike Trout’s struggles, Jose Fernandez’s injury, and Pirates prospect Gregory Polanco. Then start sending in your questions and comments below and join us at 1:30 ET.
