To those familiar with the Houston Astros, 2015 was a wake-up call…and as Google’s new #YearInSearch results detailed, a lot of folks wanted to find out just what was up with the upstart team.

Google Trends put together a detailed, categorical list of the trendiest athletes, teams, moments, and words (along with everything outside the sports realm) just in time for the final few weeks of 2015.

While no individual Astros landed in the Top 10 Trending MLB players, the ‘Stros wound up fourth on the list of Top 10 Trending MLB Teams. The full list looked like this:

1. New York Mets

2. Toronto Blue Jays

3. Chicago Cubs

4. Houston Astros

5. Kansas City Royals

6. Texas Rangers

7. Minnesota Twins

8. Pittsburgh Pirates

9. San Diego Padres

10. Arizona Diamondbacks

That the Astros were the fourth-trendiest team shows how far they came this past season…and if things go as they could next season, they may very well wind up even higher on the list next December.
