Fenway Park gets the Lego treatment
Fenway Park has been immortalized in Lego.
The legendary ball park has been rebuilt out of 28,000 bricks and will go on display at the soon-to-open LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Boston.
It took a master Lego builder 450 hours to create the 12-square-foot reconstruction, which weighs 68 pounds.
The creation also includes the Green Monster, the Pesky Pole and 800 fans in the stands.
The replica made its debut at the full-sized Fenway Park over the week and will go on permanent display to the public on May 23.
Here’s a time-lapse video of the Lego construction, condensing 450 hours into just 2 minutes.
