The Los Angeles Dodgers will attempt to fend off elimination against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday in Game 4 of the National League Division Series.
Clayton Kershaw will take the ball for Los Angeles, trailing 2–1 in the series, against second-year starter Joe Ross. Kershaw is coming off a win in Game 1 where he threw five innings of three-run ball, allowing eight hits and a walk and striking out seven.

Ross, 23, will be making his first career postseason start. He was effective for Washington this season, posting a 3.43 ERA in 19 starts.
