Detroit ready to deal: Tigers to listen to offers for Price, Cespedes

The Detroit Tigers are open for business as Friday’s nonwaiver trade deadline approaches.

FOX Sports Insider Jon Morosi has confirmed a previous report by ESPN that the defending AL Central champions are open to the idea of trading ace left-hander David Price and left fielder Yoenis Cespedes, among others.

Although the Tigers beat the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday to end a three-game losing streak, they are 12 ½ games behind the division-leading Kansas City Royals and four games behind in the race for the second AL wild-card berth.
