Denard Span scratched from Nats’ lineup on Monday
Outfielder Denard Span has been erased from the Washington Nationals lineup by manager Matt Williams for their game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday.
Span left the Nationals' game early on Sunday with a sore right knee, and is reported as day-to-day.
The 31-year-old has had a great start to his third season with the Nationals, and is currently hitting .314/.356/.504 with five home runs and 16 runs batted in through 33 games played.
