Bag of Jose Fernandez signed baseballs mysteriously washes ashore in Miami

As the city of Miami and the entire MLB community mourn the death of Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez, something mysterious occurred on Monday during the investigation of the tragedy — a bag of baseballs signed by Jose Fernandez washed ashore approximately one mile from the accident.

In a video taken by WSVN’s Rosh Lowe, Ocean Rescue Division Chief Vincent Canosa elaborated on his inclination that the bag belonged to Fernandez and/or one of his two friends, Emilio Macias and Eduardo Rivero, whose lives were also lost during the boat wreck.

Eerie, spooky, shocking and downright gut-wrenching — the only words that can appropriately describe this story.
