Cole Hertzler - Sidelined at Single-A
Single-A Fayetteville placed Hertzler on the 7-day injured list April 23 with an undisclosed injury.
Impact At 21, Hertzler is a little old for Single-A, but he dominated prior to the injury, logging a 0.66 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 19:6 K:BB in 13.2 innings across three starts. The Astros selected the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Hertzler out of Liberty University in the fifth round of last year's draft.

Elvin Rodríguez - Heading back to Triple-A
Milwaukee optioned Rodriguez to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.
Impact After giving up six earned runs in 3.1 innings of long relief in Wednesday's 9-1 loss to the Astros, Rodriguez was unlikely to be available out of the bullpen for the next few days, so Milwaukee will remove him from the 26-man active roster. Expect the team to call up another reliever from Triple-A in advance of Friday's series opener at Tampa Bay.

Zach Dezenzo - Reaches base three times
Dezenzo went 1-for-2 with an RBI, two walks and two runs scored Wednesday against the Brewers.
Impact Dezenzo's playing time was already ticking up, but it's even more secure with Yordan Alvarez (hand) sidelined. He has started four of five games with Alvarez out of the lineup, during which Dezenzo has gone 4-for-12 with two doubles, three walks, four RBI and six runs scored.

Yainer Diaz - Hits in six straight
Diaz went 1-for-5 with a double and two RBI on Wednesday.
Impact Diaz capped off a nine-run effort from the Astros' lineup, sending a double to left field to drive in two in the ninth inning. That extended his hitting streak to six games, during which he's gone 9-for-25 with four RBI, one home run and four runs scored. Diaz is still hitting just .222 across 121 plate appearances for the season, but his performance is picking up.
