It certainly wasn't for lack of trying, but Chicago White Sox center fielder Alejandro De Aza is tagged out on a stolen base attempt by New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano on during Saturday's game in the Bronx. This was the first out of the game and an ominous sign for the White Sox, who lost 4-0.
Another tough out
The Twins' Trevor Plouffe finds out that a face full of leather is a lot like a face full of dirt on Saturday ... it results in an out. On this play, Plouffe is tagged out at home by Royals catcher Brayan Pena while trying to dives to tag out Minnesota Twins' Trevor Plouffe as Plouffe tried to score from third on a pop out. The Twins won, however, 7-2.
It's worse than it looks
Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia is caught by coaches and teammates as he tumbles over the dugout rail catching a foul ball for the out off the bat of the Angels' Mike Trout on Saturday. Arencibia was uninjured, though the same can't be said for the Angels. Toronto shelled Los Angeles 11-2.
