Milwaukee starting pitcher Zack Greinke strikes out a season-high 12 batters Wednesday as the Brewers beat the Cubs 8-0 in Milwaukee. Greinke (7-2) gave up two hits in seven innings, with two walks and a wild pitch. It extended his home winning streak to 15 straight.
Reds first baseman Joey Votto picks off Andrew McCutchen at first base in the fourth inning Wednesday in Cincinnati. The Reds went on to beat the Pirates 5-4. At the plate, Votto extended his hitting streak to 12 games, while McCutchen hit a three-run homer later in the eighth inning.
White Sox pitcher Jose Quintana is prolific Wednesday against Toronto, allowing two runs in six innings, but is outdueled by Brandon Morrow in a 2-0 loss.

The Cardinals' Carlos Beltran heads for home plate behind Astros catcher Jason Castro to score on a single by Allen Craig in the first inning Wednesday in Houston. The Cardinals beat the Astros 4-3.
Atlanta's Randall Delgado pitches against the Marlins in the third inning Wednesday in Miami. The Braves beat the Marlins 2-1. Delgado, who pitched into the seventh inning, picked up the win and improved to 4-5. He also batted eighth in the lineup and knocked in a run in the fourth inning with a single.
