Impact Lopez completed a 35-pitch bullpen session late last week, and he'll presumably continue to build up his pitch count Thursday. The right-hander has been sidelined since mid-July due to a right shoulder strain but is likely close to facing hitters.

Bryan Mitchell - Contract selected Thursday Mitchell's contract was selected by the Marlins on Thursday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Impact Mitchell was let go by the Phillies in late July after he began the season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, but he joined Miami on a minor-league pact in early August. The right-hander generated a 3.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP in 12 innings across five appearances (one start) at Triple-A Jacksonville and will be available to make his 2021 major-league debut after right-hander Luis Madero was designated for assignment Thursday.

Impact Guzman was promoted from Triple-A Jacksonville last weekend and surrendered six runs over 1.2 frames in two appearances versus Atlanta this week. It's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined.

Impact Madero has his contract selected by the Marlins on Tuesday and will be cast off the 40-man roster after giving up two runs over two innings during his brief time in the majors.
