With injuries to their forwards piling up, including losing T.J. Oshie, Vladimir Sobotka and Derek Roy on Thursday night, the St. Louis Blues recalled forwards Adam Cracknell, Keith Aucoin and Ty Rattie from their American Hockey League affiliate in Chicago on Friday morning.

The struggling Blues (52-21-7), who have lost four straight games, play in Dallas tonight and then return to St. Louis to host Detroit on Sunday in their regular-season finale.

The Blues played Thursday night without Vladimir Tarasenko (hand) and captain David Backes, who is considered day to day after suffering a lower-body injury in the second period of Tuesday’s loss to visiting Washington. St. Louis then lost Oshie to a possible head injury after he was hit with an elbow by Minnesota’s Mike Rupp in the second period of Thursday’s loss.

Another forward, Brenden Morrow, was scratched from Thursday night’s game and was wearing a boot on his foot Friday morning, according to Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Oshie has 21 goals and 39 assists for 60 points, which ranks second on the Blues behind only Alexander Steen’s 62 points. Backes is second in goals (27) behind Steen (33) and third in scoring with 57 points. Tarasenko had 21 goals and 22 assists for 43 points in 64 games. Sobotka has 33 points in 61 games. Roy has 37 points in 74 games. Morrow has 25 points in 71 games.

The Blues won’t expect Cracknell, Aucoin and Rattie to replace that scoring, but they will add much-needed forward depth.

Cracknell, 28, has two assists in 17 games for the Blues this season and has 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists) in 28 games for the Chicago Wolves.

Aucoin, 35, signed with the Blues last July as a free agent and has appeared in 143 career NHL games with the New York Islanders, Washington and Carolina. The center, who played in 41 games for the Islanders last season, ranks second on the Wolves in scoring this season with 40 points (11 goals, 29 assists) in 60 games.

Hitchcock announced the following line combinations for Friday:

— Steve Ott, Steen, Jaden Schwartz

— Dmitrij Jaskin, Patrik Berglund, Rattie

— Chris Porter, Maxim Lapierre, Ryan Reaves

— Magnus Paajarvi, Aucoin, Cracknell
