The St. Louis Cardinals, still in the midst of their abbreviated 2020 regular-season schedule, announced their 2021 spring training slate Wednesday, as did the rest of Major League Baseball.

The Cardinals will open Grapefruit League play Feb. 27 against the Miami Marlins, their co-tenants at Roger Dean Stadium, and finish March 28 against Washington.

Half of their 30-game slate will be home games, though with four “road games” against the Marlins they’ll play 19 games at their spring training home in Jupiter, Florida.

St. Louis’ 2021 regular-season opener is scheduled for April 1 at Cincinnati.
