ST. LOUIS -- Jared Terrell tossed in 20 points and Andre Berry added a double-double to propel Rhode Island to a 72-65 victory over Saint Louis on Tuesday night.

Terrell knocked down 3 of 5 attempts from 3-point range, while the rest of the Rams (12-3, 4-0 Atlantic 10 Conference) made just 1 of 8. Berry finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Rhode Island upped its winning streak to seven and won for the ninth time in 10 games. The Rams beat the Billikens (8-9, 1-3) for the 10th time in 11 games, including five straight. Rhode Island ran its conference win streak to 11 dating back to last season.

Davell Roby made 11 of 12 free throws and scored 19 to pace Saint Louis. D.J. Foreman added 13 points, while Jalen Johnson chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds. The Billikens outrebounded Rhode Island 36-30. Saint Louis was 8-0 this season when winning the rebound battle.

Two Fatts Russell free throws gave the Rams a 9-8 lead 6 minutes into the game and they never trailed again. Roby hit two free throws with 10:32 left to play to pull the Billikens even at 55, but Berry's jumper regained the lead for the Rams, who made 13 of 16 free throws to close out the win.
