What's the next-best thing to seeing Mike Matheny and the Cardinals up close and personal at a spring training game? Watching the action live on FOX Sports Midwest.

ST. LOUIS — Long gone are the days when you had to wait for the morning paper to see how the Cardinals were faring in spring training. This spring, more than any before, you will be able to see the action as it happens.

Beginning with the spring opener against the Marlins on Feb. 28, 15 of of the Cardinals’ 28 spring training games will be televised on FOX Sports Midwest, an all-time high. That’s up from 10 games last year and five the year before. A year ago, only four MLB teams televised 15 or more spring training games locally.

FSMW will televise all but two of the team’s 15 games at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter. FSMW will show all six of the Cardinals’ games against the Marlins as well as games against the Red Sox, Mets, Twins, Tigers, Braves and Nationals.

If you can’t watch the games televised by FSMW live, FSMW will replay them on the night they’re played.
