Blues' forward depth depleted as Bozak and Thomas placed on IR

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues have placed forwards Tyler Bozak and Robert Thomas on injured reserve.

Bozak, 32, suffered a concussion in a Jan. 5 game against the Islanders. He has 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) in 39 games this season, his first with the Blues.

Thomas hurt his shoulder crashing into the boards Thursday night against the Canadiens, a game in which he scored the game's first goal. The 19-year-old rookie, a first-round pick in 2017, has 14 points (five goals, nine assists) in 37 games.
