St. Louis Blues legend Bernie Federko, a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, joined FOX Sports Midwest in 1999 as an analyst and ice-level reporter for Blues telecasts.
Federko, a 14-year NHL veteran, played for the Blues for 13 seasons (1976-1988). He holds career records for games played (927), assists (721) and points (1,073) with the Blues. Bernie retired from hockey after the 1989-90 season. His No. 24 sweater was retired on March 16, 1991, by the Blues and hangs from the ceiling at Scottrade Center. On Nov. 4, 2002, Federko was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Federko is part of all Blues broadcasts on FOX Sports Midwest as an analyst in the booth, rinkside or in studio. Federko also spent four years as an analyst on the Blues’ radio broadcast team.
