Cardale Jones tosses first pitch at Indians game
After Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott threw out the first pitch at a St. Louis Cardinals game (Elliott’s hometown) earlier this season, quarterback Cardale Jones has been waiting for the opportunity to toss his pitch at a Cleveland Indians game.
On Friday night, he got his chance.
Following some warm-up throws with former Heisman Tropy winning quarterback Troy Smith, it was Jones’ time to shine.
With the Buckeyes fight song playing behind him, Jones fired a fastball that just missed the top of the zone to his catcher, Indians Nick Swisher.

He didn’t throw a strike, but all in all a good pitch for the Buckeye signal caller.
