College Football Week 1 Highlights: Michigan Tops New Mexico, LSU Beats Clemson

Week 1 of the 2025 college football season delivered plenty of drama, with three top-10 teams falling in upsets and a slate packed with highlight-reel plays.

The day started when No. 3 Ohio State defeated No. 1 Texas in a showdown in Columbus on FOX's "Big Noon Saturday.

Later in the afternoon, unranked Florida State upset No. 8 Alabama by double digits in Tallahassee, while No. 20 Indiana took care of business against Old Dominion at home.

In the nightcap, Michigan started its season off with a victory over New Mexico, while No. 9 LSU went on the road and beat No. 4 Clemson in a primetime showdown between two powerhouse programs, both of which claim to be the "real" Death Valley.
