FRISCO, Texas — Zdenek Ondrasek scored twice and FC Dallas earned a playoff spot with a 6-0 victory over Sporting Kansas City on Sunday in the regular-season finale.

FC Dallas (13-12-9) will open the playoffs at Seattle. Sporting Kansas City finished 10-16-8.

Ondrasek took a 50-yard pass from midfielder Bryan Acosta, got behind the defense and, running to the left of the box, punched it back to the right to open the scoring in the ninth minute.

Three minutes later, Matt Hedges tapped in a center pass from the left from Santiago Mosquera directly in front of the goal mouth for a two-goal lead. Dallas added two more goals following intermission — again in a three-minute span — from Mosquera at the 51st and from Michael Barrios. Ondrasek added another and Jesus Ferreira closed out the scoring.
