Pacers sign second-round pick Niang

The Indiana Pacers have signed second-round draft pick Georges Niang to a contract. Terms were not disclosed.

Niang was the 50th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft out of Iowa State. A 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward, Niang averaged 20.5 points and 6.2 rebounds per game his senior year.

Niang recently played for the Pacers’ summer league team in Orlando, averaging 10.2 points and 6.2 rebounds over five games.
