Pacers send Niang to D-league affiliate

Georges Niang is heading from the Pacers’ bench to the Mad Ants’ starting lineup after Indiana sent him to their NBA D-league affiliate on Monday.

The rookie forward has been up and down from the Mad Ants this year. While with the Pacers, Niang has averaged 4.1 minutes per game. He’s scored 19 points in 21 games this season.

The Pacers welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday for the only time this season. Both Thaddeus Young and Rodney Stuckey are dealing with injuries and are questionable to play in the game. That game can be viewed on Fox Sports Indiana or Fox Sports GO.
