Went the Day Well wins Big A feature

NEW YORK (AP) Went the Day Well, once a promising Triple Crown contender, ended a lengthy losing streak Sunday in the $59,000 allowance feature for New York breds at Aqueduct.

Angel Arroyo was aboard as Went the Day Well ran the one mile, 70 yards in 1:43.67, paying $14, $7.30 and $5.30. The 6-year-old is trained by Jimmy Jerkins.

Testosterstone, the longest price in the race at 22-1, returned $22.80 and $8.80, while Alcolite paid $3.60 to show.
