American Pharoah delivered on everything owner Ahmed Zayat believed … before he started as a 3-year-old.

The magical son of of Pioneerof the Nile became the 12th Triple Crown winner on Saturday, rolling to victory in wire-to-wire fashion in the Belmont Stakes.

American Pharoah becomes the first Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978.

He was sent off as the 3-5 favorite and returned $3.50 to win on a $2 bet.
