Impact Molinari came out of the gates hot on Sunday with birdies on each of the first four holes. He made two more at 10 and 11 before his only bogey of the day on 14. The 2018 Open Championship winner would close the week out with birdies at 16, 17 and 18 to notch his best result anywhere since a third place finish at the 2019 WGC-Match Play. It's been a struggle for Molinari who last year spent time on both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour. He had missed the cut in eight of his previous 11 starts coming into the week, so this was a much needed result to get some confidence back. Molinari will tee it up again at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic next week.
