TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have promoted wide receiver Adam Humphries from the practice squad to the active roster.

The move Wednesday came a day after No. 3 receiver Louis Murphy was placed on injured reserve with a torn ligament in his right knee. Murphy was hurt during last Sunday’s 31-30 loss at Washington.

The Bucs also signed wide receiver Andre Davis, offensive lineman Ryan Groy, defensive tackle Derrick Lott and linebacker Julian Stanford to the practice squad.
