‘Miami Marlins 2014 Season Preview’ debuts March 20 on FOX Sports Florida
MIAMI, Fla. — On Thursday, March 20th following the television broadcast of the Miami Marlins’ spring training game vs. the St. Louis Cardinals, FOX Sports Florida, the statewide TV home of the Marlins, will debut the "Miami Marlins 2014 Season Preview."
Hosted by Craig Minervini and Tommy Hutton, this special hour-long show will provide fans with an in-depth analysis of the club and the expectations for the upcoming season. In addition to airing statewide on FOX Sports Florida, the show will be televised nationally on Wednesday, March 26th on FOX Sports 1.
Marlins fans are encouraged to tune in and watch as FOX Sports Florida play-by-play commentator Rich Waltz sits down for one-on-one interviews with Manager Mike Redmond and 2013 National League Rookie of the Year Jose Fernandez. With Opening Day just around the corner on March 31st, the show will spotlight what fans can expect this season from the Fish. Features include Marlins reporter Allison Williams introducing fans to some of the important new players on the roster, former Marlin Preston Wilson providing his analysis of the team and Frank Forte interviewing the top prospect in the Marlins system, pitcher Andrew Heaney. Finally, viewers will hear from Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton on what he feels when he catches a pitch right on the barrel of his powerful bat.
