Jaguars, 4th-round pick Sheldon Day agree to 4-year deal
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed fourth-round draft pick Sheldon Day of Notre Dame.
The defensive tackle agreed to a four-year deal worth about $2.95 million Monday. It included a $600,000 signing bonus.
Day became the fifth of Jacksonville’s seven rookies to sign. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey (first round) and defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (third) remain unsigned.
The 293-pounder started 32 of 48 games during his four years with the Fighting Irish. As a senior, he had 45 tackles and four sacks.
