Dwyane Wade discusses his wedding, watch designing on Good Morning America
Miami Heat star and newlywed Dwyane Wade passed by Good Morning America on Wednesday to give an update on his busy offseason as he prepares for his 12th NBA season.
In his first interview since his wedding with actress Gabrielle Union on August 30, he described the experience as a "perfect day". He also explained how she was getting a "package deal" when she accepted his marriage proposal.
"She was marrying not only me but marrying our family — our boys," Wade said. "She had to marry us. We’re a package, you know. It was great to be able to have them incorporated into the wedding. Even on the day, they stole the show."
Wade also took the opportunity to promote his latest design for Hublot watches called the "Classic Fusion," his second custom model for the esteemed watchmaker.
He also touched on his preparations for the upcoming season, ironically while struggling to score on a double-shot arcade basketball game as he was being interviewed.
"I’m getting ready," he said. "I’m excited about this year. It just ended but it’s coming back up again."
