Dan Marino wax statue unveiled for Tussauds Orlando museum

Tussauds museum sculptors used more than 500 measurements to create Dan Marino's wax figure as identical as possible.

Legendary Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino now has a double of himself as in a wax replica statue that was officially unveiled Saturday at a news conference at Sun Life Stadium for the fifth annual Dan Marino Foundation WalkAbout Autism & Expo.

The wax figure will be transported to the Madame Tussauds Orlando museum which is scheduled to open in the spring.

Marino played for the Dolphins his entire career from 1983 to 1999. He now serves as a special adviser to the team.

Madame Tussauds Orlando is located at the I-Drive 360 complex, which will also be home to the Orlando Eye observation wheel and the Sea Life Aquarium later this year.
