Bye week: 12
Quarterback: Russell Wilson
Ranked ninth with 327.6 FOXSports.com fantasy points in 2012 … Was 23rd with 3,118 passing yards on 393 attempts (T-25), but ranked T-9 with 26 touchdown passes … Third among QBs with 94 rushing attempts and 489 yards, and scored four times on the ground … Threw for 16 touchdowns against two interceptions in the season’s final eight games … If the Seahawks expand the playbook, as head coach Pete Carroll has suggested, Wilson could provide value in the QB9-12 range.
Running back: Marshawn Lynch
Ranked fourth among running backs with 246.6 fantasy points in 2012 … Third in yards (1,590), T-5 in rushing TDs (11) and fifth in carries (315) … Also had 23 catches for 196 yards and a score … Almost certain to go in your draft’s top 10.
Running back: Robert Turbin
Ranked 62nd with 53.5 fantasy points in 2012 … Ran 80 times for 354 yards, and caught 19 passes for 181 yards as Lynch’s caddy … Only worthwhile if your format dictates drafting a handcuff for Lynch.
Wide receiver: Percy Harvin
Had hip surgery in late July, and won’t return until November at the earliest … Not worth drafting.
Wide receiver: Sidney Rice
Ranked T-31 with 118.4 fantasy points in 2012 … T-48 with 50 receptions and 41st with 748 yards, but padded production with seven touchdowns … Had a non-surgical procedure done in Switzerland in July to help his ailing knee, and is expected to be ready for preseason games … Can Rice shake the injury bug to outplay his WR4 ADP?
Wide receiver: Golden Tate
Ranked 33rd with 117.7 fantasy points in 2012 … T-55 in receptions (45) and 49th in yards (688), but scored seven touchdowns … Going as a low-end WR4, with many predicting he’ll be the biggest fantasy beneficiary of Harvin’s absence.
Wide receiver: Doug Baldwin
Ranked T-76 with 54.6 fantasy points in 2012 … Caught 29 passes for 366 yards and three TDs … Longshot fantasy contributor, even with Harvin out.
Tight end: Zach Miller
Ranked 29th among tight ends with 55.6 fantasy points in 2012 … 26th in receptions (38) and 25th in yardage (396) while scoring three times … Banged up with a foot injury that will cause him to miss much of the preseason (or longer) … Not impressed yet, right? … Caught 20 passes with two touchdowns in the season’s final seven games, and added 12 receptions for 190 yards and a score in two playoff contests … If you roster two tight ends, Miller can be your low-end TE2. Just make sure to check his health status as late as you can before the draft.
Placekicker: Steven Hauschka
Ranked 11th among kickers with 130 fantasy points in 2012 … Was T-23 with 27 field goal attempts, but converted a solid 24 of them … Fifth with 48 extra points in the Seahawks’ potent offense … Could sneak into the low-end PK1 conversation.
Team defense (DST)
Ranked seventh with 132 fantasy points in 2012 … First in points allowed (245), fourth in yards allowed (4,899), T-6 in touchdowns (six), seventh in fumble recoveries (13), T-8 in interceptions (18), T-17 in sacks (37) … Hoping to get DL Chris Clemons (11.5 sacks) back for the season opener after a playoff knee injury … Consensus pick as fantasy’s top defensive unit.
