Once again using the all-day contests for the most options on a 15-game Saturday. Beware of rain in Texas and Chicago which feature some of the day’s premier pitchers. Remember - the lineups for today’s action have not been released when this goes out. Be sure to double check before first pitch to ensure your guys are playing.
As always, feel free to reach out on Twitter @FoxSportsSinger if you have any questions.
Pitcher: Despite the threat of rain in the Astros-Rangers game, Lance McCullers ($10,800) is going to be the anchor at pitcher. He’s surrendered just two earned runs in his last five starts and faces a Rangers team ranked eighth in strikeouts. Carlos Carrasco ($11,700) is a little more expensive, but he would be my second option in the event McCullers’ game is postponed. Mike Leake ($8,400) has nine quality starts over 10 outings and the fourth best ERA in the majors at 2.24. The Cubs are always tough, but they’re only batting .234 as a team.
Jett Bandy ($3,000) is currently mired in a 0-for-8 skid. I think he breaks out of it today against the Dodgers. He owns a .369 wOBA over the last two seasons against left-handed pitchers and faces Rich Hill today. Bandy’s only other streak of at least eight at-bats without a hit (May 4-May 7) ended with a double soon thereafter.

Miguel Cabrera is relatively cheap at $4,000 and comes off a 3-for-3, four RBI effort against the White Sox Friday night. After a flimsy start to his 2017 campaign, Edwin Encarnacion ($4,100) has hits in 11 straight games. There should be plenty of opportunities for him to contribute in today’s contest against Kansas City’s Jason Hammel (1-6, 6.18 ERA). I don’t think you can go wrong with either of these sluggers.

Daniel Murphy will only cost you $4,400. His current .335/.388/.574, 10 homers and 38 RBI make him a lock at that price. He also offers the best wOBA over the last two seasons in his respective matchup. Robinson Cano ($4,300) is another solid option with a favorable pitching matchup and six hits in his last four games.
Manny Machado at $3,800 against Boston? I’ll take him, even if the Red Sox are trotting out David Price for the second time this season. Machado has tagged Boston for five dingers and 10 RBI this season and sports a zesty .922 OPS against them.
Troy Tulowitzki presents a solid option at $3,700 and his career .313 batting average and .399 wOBA against lefties lead me to believe he’ll do some damage against Yankees’ lefty Jordan Montgomery. Francisco Lindor ($4,700) is on pace for a career year in the home run department if you want to stack him with Encarnacion against Jason Hammel.
I won’t stop rostering Avisail Garcia until he’s more than $3,700. He’s batting .325 with 37 RBI this season. Jay Bruce ($4,100) owns a sturdy .282 isolated power against righties and should tee off on Pittsburgh’s Tyler Glasnow (2-4, 6.95 ERA). Ender Inciarte ($4,000) adds some speed to the lineup with 10 stolen bases and a healthy .340 on-base percentage.
