Red Wings, Kings engage in minor Twitter war

The Los Angeles Kings, who in June won their first Stanley Cup, are feeling pretty good about themselves.

So much so that the organization over the weekend took Twitter shots at the Detroit Red Wings, winners of 11 total Stanley Cups and four over the last 15 years.

The Red Wings then returned fire, touting their rich history of raising championship banners.

The exchange was a result of Kings writers making their playoff predictions for next season, which left the Wings for dead.
