Pettigrew active for Lions Sunday
DETROIT — The Detroit Lions will have one of their top three tight ends back in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Starter Brandon Pettigrew, who missed the last game because of a foot injury, is active after being listed Friday as questionable.
Eric Ebron (hamstring) and Joseph Fauria (ankle), however, remain out. Ebron will miss his third straight game while Fauria sits out his sixth in a row.
Besides Pettigrew, the Lions’ offense will also have receiver Calvin Johnson (ankle), running back Reggie Bush (ankle) and offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle (concussion) back in the lineup, as expected.
C.J. Mosley, suspended for the Lions’ last game following a marijuana-related incident, will start at defensive tackle in place of Nick Fairley, who is out indefinitely with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, running back Lamar Miller, who was questionable because of a shoulder injury, is active and expected to start for the Dolphins.
