FOX Sports Detroit announces 2017 Tigers schedule
Every game on the Detroit Tigers’ much-anticipated 2017 regular-season schedule will be televised, including 152 originated by FOX Sports Detroit, four games on FOX Sports 1 and four selected for the FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week. You will also be able to stream any Tigers game that airs on a FOX network on FOX Sports GO.
FOX Sports Detroit’s coverage of the Tigers, presented by Belle Tire, leads off with seven spring training games, followed by the April 3 season opener in Chicago against the White Sox. We have expanded coverage of the home opener against the Boston Red Sox, starting at 10:00 a.m. with back-to-back replays of Inside the Tigers and is followed by a two-hour pregame show.
Tigers fans continue to receive quality and comprehensive coverage from FOX Sports Detroit, which has earned 121 Michigan Emmys since 2000, including 22 for Tigers programming. The network’s extensive baseball lineup in 2017 includes TIGERS LIVE, which will air before and after every telecast. Our pre- and postgame shows are typically an hour long.
The season premiere of Inside the Tigers will air on March 29 at 12:30 p.m.

The Tigers will be on FOX Saturday Baseball on May 20 vs the Texas Rangers, June 10 at the Boston Red Sox, July 1 vs the Cleveland Indians and July 8 at the Cleveland Indians. The games will receive regional coverage on WJBK-FOX 2 in Detroit and other FOX network affiliates throughout Tigers territory.
