Tour leader Froome sends message of support to Nice victims

NYONS, France (AP) Tour de France leader Chris Froome has sent a message of support to the victims of the deadly attack in Nice.

The defending champion posted a picture of the blue, white and red French flag and wrote: ''Thoughts are with those affected by the horrific terror attack in Nice.''

Froome was scheduled to compete in the race's first time trial later Friday.
