NAGPUR, India (AP) Samuel Badree took 3-14 as West Indies targeted a fourth successive victory at the World Twenty20 by restricting Afghanistan to 123-7 in Group 1 on Sunday.

West Indies captain Darren Sammy opted to bowl for the fourth time in a row and the decision paid off as Afghanistan's top order crumbled against Badree on a turning wicket.

Key batsmen Mohammad Shahzad (24) and captain Asghar Stanikzai (16) were dismissed trying expansive shots off the legspinner.

Najibullah Zadran anchored the innings with an unbeaten 48 off 40 balls, hitting four boundaries and a six.

West Indies has already qualified for the semifinals after beating South Africa, Sri Lanka and England. Afghanistan has lost its three group matches.

West Indies rested Chris Gayle, giving a T20 debut to 24-year-old opener Evin Lewis.
