Brendan Doyle - Catches TD Saturday Doyle reeled in their only target for four yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-17 victory over Troy.

Impact Doyle caught just one pass Saturday, a four-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. He now has two touchdowns through the first two games despite only seeing three targets. It's clear that Seth Henigan likes looking for Doyle in the redzone, but he's currently not seeing enough volume to be relied on consistently.

Roc Taylor - Quiet in Saturday's win Taylor logged four receptions (on seven targets) for 27 yards during Saturday's 38-17 victory over Troy.

Impact Taylor led the Tigers with seven targets Saturday, but only gained 27 yards. In fairness, Seth Henigan only threw for 161 yards so there was not a lot of production to go around. Despite the poor performance, Taylor is still clearly one of Henigan's favorite targets and should get back on track soon.

Demeer Blankumsee - Another quiet outing Blankumsee reeled in 4 of 5 targets for 50 yards during Saturday's 38-17 win versus Troy.

Impact Blankumsee slightly improved on his Week 1 performance Saturday, catching four passes for 50 yards. While the overall yardage wasn't great, it accounted for nearly one third of Seth Henigan's passing yards. It's been a fairly quiet start to the season for Blankumsee, but he showed his ability to have break out games last season so he's due for a productive outing soon.

Impact Sutton Smith (leg) was ruled out for the season Saturday, giving Desrosiers a chance to make his case for being the team's No. 2 option. Desrosiers made his case well as he gained 62 yards from scrimmage on 10 touches. Impact On Saturday, Sutton Smith (leg) was ruled out for the 2024 season, leaving Anderson as the clear cut No. 1 running back for Memphis. He proved that during Saturday's game as he gained nearly 150 yards from scrimmage in addition to scoring two touchdowns in his second consecutive game. With Smith's injury and Anderson's recent play, Anderson's value for the remainder of the season is sky-high.

Impact Henigan only threw for 161 yards and one touchdown Saturday, a slightly disappointing performance versus Troy. He didn't play poorly, but the Tigers' focused their efforts on the run which limited Henigan. He faces a more difficult matchup Saturday at Florida State versus a team desperate for a win.
