Toric Goins Jr. - Catches first TD Goins caught three passes for 105 yards and a touchdown Saturday against UT Martin.

Impact Goins, a redshirt freshman, only had one catch for two yards in UTEP's opener. Three catches is not exactly remarkable, but he has his first collegiate touchdown, and this should be encouraging enough for him to have a role in this offense. It's just the matter of what that role is.

Impact Granted, it's early, but Odom is the early favorite to have the best numbers of any receiver in Conference USA. He set the groundwork for believing that with 46 catches for 741 yards and eight touchdowns last year. It's not just that he already has 14 catches for 221 yards and two touchdowns. He's been targeted 22 times, so clearly Odom is the focal point.

Wilson broke off a 94-yard run against an FCS defense, which is slightly fluky. His other seven carries went for 23 yards. The fact he only got eight carries also tells you a lot.
