True freshman Jake Browning will start for Washington vs. Boise State
Welcome to the show, kid.
Washington Huskies head coach Chris Petersen has decided to start true freshman Jake Browning at quarterback versus Boise State, according to The Seattle Times' Adam Jude.
K.J Carta-Samuels will be the second option for the Huskies, while Jeff Lindquist will be QB three for the time being.
Browning becomes the first ever true freshman to open the season as a starter for Washington and also is the first true freshman Chris Petersen has ever used at QB.
Browning will start and Carta-Samuels is No. 2.
