Help may be on the way for Virginia Tech, as quarterback Michael Brewer was listed as “probable” for Friday night’s game against N.C. State.

Brewer, a senior, broke his collarbone during the Hokies 42-24 loss to No. 1 Ohio State in the season opener and has been out since.

Virginia Tech (2-3, 0-1 AAC) has lost its last two games and will look to bounce back on Friday when it hosts N.C. State (4-1, 0-1 ACC) at 8 p.m.

On the season, Brewer has completed 11 of his 16 pass attempts for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
