Utah averages 14 points vs. ASU since joining Pac-12; last win was 1976
Utah may be undefeated through five games, but the program has dropped eleven consecutive games vs. Arizona State.
The Utes have not defeated the Sun Devils since 1976, when both schools were in the Western Athletic Conference. Since Utah joined the Pac-12, the team averages just 14 points when facing Arizona State. ASU controls the overall head-to-head match-up, which dates back to 1961, 20-6.
ASU won 19-16 last season; the Sun Devils also squeezed out a close victory in 2013 (20-19) after dominating Utah in 2012 — when ASU won 37-7.
No. 4 Utah plays Arizona State on Saturday, 7PM.
