Can Utah spark their passing attack vs. ASU’s shaky pass defense?
Utah averages just 185.6 yards per game in the air through five games, but Arizona State's pass defense may cause some optimism.
According to KSL.com's Josh Furlong, ASU has one of the worst pass defenses in the country. They're ranked No. 91 overall vs. the pass, allowing 244 yards per game. The Sun Devils are also ranked No. 100 overall per opposing attempt, allowing 7.8 yards. Utah has had trouble getting the ball moving this season, ranked No. 100 overall.
Utah has recorded 6.68 yards per attempt in 2015. While ASU allows 244 yards per game, the Utes have recorded more than 244 yards just once this season — vs. Oregon, when the Utes won 62-20.

ASU is one of the worst teams nationally in defending the pass. They're ranked 91st in nation (avg 244.0 yds/gm); 100th in yds/att at 7.8.
