A Pac-12 champion Utah would have a strong shot at a College Football Playoff spot

Should Utah win its next four games, including the Pac-12 title, the team would have a 73 percent chance of making the College Football Playoff, according to FiveThirtyEight.com.

As it stands right now, the Utes (8-1, 5-1) are ranked No. 10 in the College Football Playoff rankings and can clinch the Pac-12 South crown with two more victories conference victories.

Utah's remaining games are against Arizona, No. 19 UCLA, Colorado and then a potential Pac-12 championship game. 

Right now FiveThirtyEight.com gives Stanford an 11-percent chance of making the College Football Playoff and a 14-percent chance of winning the rest of its games.
