USC’s Jabari Ruffin ejected for stomping on Alabama player’s groin

USC defensive end Jabari Ruffin was ejected from Saturday’s game against Alabama for stomping on the groin of Crimson Tide defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Alabama was up 10-3 over USC at the time. Trojan wide receiver Adoree’ Jackson was attempting to help Fitzpatrick up from the turf with 3:20 left in second quarter when Ruffin deliberately stepped on Fitzpatrick’s groin, immediately sparking retaliation on the field.

The referee called senior Ruffin on a flagrant personal foul and disqualified him from the game.
