UCLA freshman QB Josh set school record for most completions in a game
UCLA fans may have been worried about starting a true freshman when the season started, but Josh Rosen continues to improve every game.
Earlier in the game, UCLA's kicker set a school record for longest field goal completed. Rosen joined the record breakers club when he connected for his 34th completion — which became the new UCLA record for most completions in a game. Rosen ended the game with 34 completions, 399 yards and 3 TD's.
OC Register's Joey Kaufman notes that Green Bay Packers quarterback and former UCLA star Brett Hundley recorded 33 completions vs. Memphis last season.
Josh Rosen just set the UCLA record for completions in a game. Which is equal parts bad Cal defense and having no RB’s tonight.
