Top 25 coaches poll: FSU still No. 2 despite beating Notre Dame

Florida State won the matchup of Week 8 in beating Notre Dame in prime time, but it was not enough to bump Mississippi State from the top spot in this week’s Top 25 coaches’ poll.

Only four unbeatens remain after Baylor and the Fighting Irish lost on Saturday. The Bears lost in Morgantown 41-27, while Notre Dame lost 31-27 to the Seminoles.
