Texas native Kellen Diesch recently decided to back off his commitment to Arkansas but may be staying in the SEC if his recent comments are any indication of where the 6-foot-7, 270-pound prospect may be leaning.

Diesch spoke to 247Sports regarding his decision to decommit from the Razorbacks.

“I was just thinking about it more and more and I just thought I might not have made the right decision,” Diesch said. “I wanted to re-evaluate things a little bit."

As for the teams the offensive lineman prospect may now be open to joining, one plays Arkansas on an annual basis.

“I’m not ready to make another commitment right away or anything,” Diesch said. “I want to take some visits. Two schools I definitely want to see are Texas A&M and Tennessee. Those are two I’m really interested in. Baylor and Texas are probably the other two I’ll look at.”

Diesch is currently rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.
